Terms of service

The terms that apply when you use our website or engage ThiqahTech for software and digital services.

13sections
OMOman law

01About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of thiqahtechoman.com and the services provided by Thiqah Tech Oman (“ThiqahTech”, “we”, “us”). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Where you sign a separate proposal, contract or statement of work with us, that agreement will take priority over these terms if the two conflict.

02Using our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, servers or related systems.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content.
  • Copy, scrape or reuse website content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
  • Use the website in any way that could damage our reputation or disrupt other users.

03Our services and proposals

We provide software development, business intelligence, technical consultancy, technical training, mobile solutions, database management and related digital services.

The scope, deliverables, timeline and price of each project are set out in a written proposal or agreement. Information on this website is a general description and does not form a binding offer.

04Quotes, payment and invoicing

Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Payments are due according to the milestones in your proposal or agreement.
  • Invoices are issued in Omani Rials and are subject to any applicable taxes.
  • We may pause work on a project if payments are overdue.
  • Changes to the agreed scope may affect the timeline and cost, and will be confirmed in writing.

05Client responsibilities

To help us deliver on time, you agree to provide accurate information, timely feedback, access to relevant systems and content, and a nominated contact person. Delays in providing these may affect the project schedule.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content, data or materials you give us to use.

06Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and illustrations, belongs to ThiqahTech or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Ownership of project deliverables is set out in your agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, ownership of custom deliverables passes to the client once full payment has been received, while ThiqahTech keeps ownership of its pre-existing tools, frameworks and know-how.

07Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business, technical or personal information received from the other, and to use it only for the purpose of the engagement. This obligation continues after the engagement ends.

08Warranty and support

We test our work before launch. Any warranty period, support hours and service levels for a project are defined in the relevant agreement.

Warranty does not cover issues caused by changes made by others, misuse, third-party services, or hosting environments outside our control.

09Third-party links and services

Our website and solutions may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms and services. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

10Limitation of liability

The website is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, ThiqahTech is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or business opportunity, arising from use of the website or services.

Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11Termination

Either party may end an engagement as set out in the relevant agreement. We may suspend access to the website or services if these terms are breached. Fees for work completed up to the termination date remain payable.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith, and if not resolved, will be referred to the competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman.

13Changes and contact

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
